The Terrible Beauty of Dictatorship is my new non-fiction book scheduled for release, March 1st, 2016. It is both a history and analysis of emergency powers, dictatorships, and states of exception.
Emergency powers are dictatorship by another name. In a post-9/11 world, they are widespread and affect you. But knowledge is power; The Terrible Beauty of Dictatorship will inform you about dictatorship and empower you.
The book is a historical/political non-fiction book and is the third book i have written (earlier books shown below). It is aimed at those who are primarily interested in politics and/or history or indeed related subjects such as jurisprudence.
The book is divided into two parts. Firstly, features of dictatorial powers are outlined. Secondly, intriguing issues raised by dictatorship are examined.
This history and analysis of dictatorship is a mature approach to the question of emergency powers in today’s world. All-in-all, you will be better informed about an area of modern politics whose importance is often missed.
The book is intended to be released as an e-book, March 1, 2016.
